Zachary Smith is the founder and CEO of Packet, the leading bare metal cloud for developers. He has spent the past 16 years building, running and fixing public cloud infrastructure platforms. As Packet CEO, he is responsible for the company’s strategic product roadmap, and is most passionate about helping customers and partners take advantage of fundamental compute and avoid vendor lock-in. Prior to founding Packet, Zachary was an early member of the management team at Voxel, a NY-based cloud hosting company sold to Internap in 2011, that built software to automate all aspects of hosting datacenters. He lives in New York City with his wife and 2 young children.

Experienced in cross-geography team management, development outsourcing, and building high-performance development teams from the ground up. Multi-national experience with 7 years of overseas time.
Darren Haas is one of our newest team members, joining GE Digital in May of 2016 as Head of Cloud Engineering for Predix. Darren came to GE from Apple, where he was responsible for the platform services group, including Siri.
Darren was one of the four founding partners of Siri, which launched in late 2007 and was acquired by Apple in 2010. Prior to Siri, Darren founded several other technology startups, including Change.org, Flat Stanley Project and Sentient AI and spent time consulting for the AI department at the Stanford Research Institute.
Yuval Bachar is a principal engineer in the global infrastructure and strategy team for LinkedIn, which is responsible for the company strategy for data center architecture and implementation of the mega scale future data centers. In this capacity, he drives and supports the new technology development, architecture, and collaboration to support the tremendous growth in LinkedIn’s future user-base, data centers, and services provided.
Prior to LinkedIn, Mr. Bachar was the leader and architect for Facebook data center networking hardware, responsible for the development of the Wedge and 6-Pack first top of Rack (ToR) and modular open networking gear. In addition, Mr. Bachar was the innovator and driver of the $1/1G optical technology initiative for 100G pluggable modules. Furthermore, he redefined the backbone architecture and integration of colored optics into the switching platforms.
Mr. Bachar has been a contributor to the PCI standard and several IEEE standards. He holds six approved US patents in the networking and system design areas and three Cisco pioneer awards.
Cole Crawford is the CEO and founder of Vapor IO, the next generation platform for edge clouds. He is a founding board member of the Open19 Foundation and was previously the founding executive director of the Open Compute Project Foundation. Cole is a co-founder of OpenStack, and has been a thought leader in data center technology and edge computing for over a decade. He and Vapor IO are currently leading industry efforts to deliver cloud computing to the edge of the network using Vapor IO’s patented hardware designs, as well as the company’s software portfolio for autonomous data center operations and application telemetry.
Throughout his 25+ year career, Curt Belusar has led engineering teams to deliver innovative products to IT customers. Utilizing his expert knowledge of datacenter infrastructure and IT equipment, Curt has provided customers with the tools they need to transform their IT environments.
As the Senior Director of Hyperscale Engineering for the Service Provider business within HPE, Curt’s forward-looking vision is to provide customers with the right size compute to fit their business at the optimal price, performance, and power efficiency. Curt and his team are continuously working to shape the cloud datacenters of the future by delivering game changing server, storage, and infrastructure solutions.
Previously, Curt made key contributions as the Director of Engineering for HP’s Smart Array controllers and Modular Smart Array (MSA) storage enclosures. Prior to that, Curt managed the development of world-renowned ProLiant server platforms. Curt leveraged his deep expertise in high speed digital design to lead engineering teams to develop cutting edge server and storage products.
Curt’s continuous goal for advancement in server, storage, and infrastructure solutions is helping his customers reach their increasingly challenging business objectives.
Chris Winslow is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cloud and Data Center business unit at Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX), the Sketch-to-Scale™ solutions provider that designs and builds Intelligent Products for a Connected World™. The Flex Cloud and Data Center business unit delivers design, manufacturing, and global deployment models for the world’s leading providers in the data center, cloud, telecommunications, networking, and IoT markets. Prior to Flex, Chris held multiple executive roles in the software manufacturing, systems integration, and distribution industries, led two technology startups to successful exits, and managed an early-stage venture capital fund. He has held numerous board seats, including a publicly-traded company and several technology startups, industry groups, and not-for-profit organizations.
